Learnerships are structured in 12-month long programmes in which a learner engages in theoretical and practical learning. Successful completion leads to an occupational related qualification registered on the National Qualification Framework (NQF) with the South African Qualifications Authority (SAQA).
Skills(Short-courses) are structured in 3-month long programme in which a learner engages in theoretical and practical learning.They focus on practical, simulation and/or work experience. The objective is for certified learners to be more likely to secure employment or be more employable.
informal small business practice is the qualification that will help to equip learners to understand the underlying principles of operational areas related to the Wholesale & Retail sector and entry level business principles, thus enabling them to become effective employers and/or self-employed members of society.
